Evaluation Question 3: What Have You Learned From Your Audience Feedback?

As a whole, I have gathered that my music video was well received and liked with my target audience as they feel that it is successful in representing youth. As well as this, the colour treatment that was added during editing was considered to be quite stylistic and therefore was enjoyed. The final comments given from respondents of this questionnaire was that is was very enjoyable to watch, it was well edited and that it worked well with the chosen song (Twice - Catfish and the Bottlemen).

However, one main comment that was given when asked how to improve was that the scenes that were shot outside were too dark. As this scene was outside at night time, it was hard to control the lighting as we were unable to use any artificial lights. As a result, the clips from this scene were very dark. When we attempted to resolve this issue in photoshop, the clips became very grainy and there was a lot of exposure. This meant that, in our final product, the clips were still quite dark and the viewers of our video did not enjoy this aspect.
