Questionnaire Analysis

For my group's questionnaire, we decided to use the online questionnaire tool Survey Monkey as this allowed us to share it on social media. This meant that the response time was quicker and there were more responses overall. We did encounter a problem with this method as we had to create two surveys, and the two surveys had a different amount of respondents. Part one had 32 responses, whereas part two had 20. I have therefore analysed the data in percentages so that it still shows the data the same way. In our questionnaire, we asked 20 questions which are listed below.
  1. Are you male or female?
  2. What is your age?
  3. What is your employment status?
  4. What is your favourite genre of music?
  5. Do you listen to music to make you feel a certain way?
  6. What is your favourite music video and why?
  7. Do you prefer a music video to tell a story or just to entertain?
  8. Would you be offended by themes mirroring drug and alcohol abuse?
  9. How do you view music videos?
  10. Do you like when music videos have a serious message?
  11. Do you like dance routines in music videos?
  12. Would you prefer the music video to be a filmed handheld (Vlog) or by a camera person?
  13. Do you prefer music videos to be upbeat and exciting or slow paced?
  14. Do you enjoy music videos with special effects?
  15. Which device do you use to watch music videos on the most?
  16. How do you feel about controversial music videos (Lady GaGa)?
  17. Do you prefer to listen to music on its own or whilst watching the video?
  18. What colour schemes do you prefer for the music videos?
  19. How often do you watch music videos?
  20. Would you watch a music video based on stereotypical youth or and adolescence?
